Specialized circular saw blade with a diameter of 260 mm for cutting laminate and wood. The blade has 84 carbide teeth, a cut of 2.5 mm and a hole diameter of 30 mm.
Specialised circular saw blade for cutting laminate. The trapezoidal tooth cuts through the material first and the flat tooth cuts away the rest in the corners. This is important because of the top layer of laminate which is usually made of melamine that is hard and splinters easily. Since laminate is usually cut inside, the boards have laser slots. This reduces noise and vibration. The sheet is also coated to prevent sticking. The basic component of laminate is mdf and is full of glue. When exposed to heat, glue sticks to a saw blade and this is prevented by the coating.
